My wife Susan and I moved to Little Rocky Run in 1986. We have four children that grew up in Little Rocky Run and now have four grandchildren. I received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Virginia and a Master’s Degree from Arizona State University. I was a pilot in the Air Force, and have been an airline pilot for over 25 years.
I am currently a member of the Little Rocky Run Board of Trustees and have been on the Board since the mid 1990’s. I have previously served as the Board President and Vice President and have been the Board liaison to the Pool Committee and the Neighborhood Board Council. I’ve helped develop and adopt a tot lot renovation program in the 90’s and worked on the sub-committee to replace a number of our tot lots with excellent new play structures. I have worked on ways to improve our trails and remain interested in adding to our trail network. I helped in the efforts that developed the neighborhood trail map, worked on the improvement of neighbor friendly guidelines for recreation center use, and worked on the effort that brought the snack bar to pool two. I remain interested in controlling costs to keep assessment increases minimal. I have also been a member of the Architectural Review Board, a member of my Neighborhood Board, a volunteer at Centreville High and Union Mill, and a Cub Scout Leader.
My goal continues to be that Little Rocky Run HOA offer member services that meet or exceed those of other area communities. I believe our staff should provide residents with friendly, excellent service and that we must remain vigilant in ensuring that Little Rocky Run maintains its appearance as it gets older. My experience, historical knowledge of Association policies and procedures, work on fiscal restraint and support of enhancement projects are helpful to our neighborhood. I ask for your vote to continue working for the good of our community.
